The executive director of one of the nonprofit agencies that receives General Purpose Excise Tax funds from the City of Sheridan recently discussed how those funds are used. Sheridan Media’s Ron Richter has the details.

The Sheridan Community Land Trust received $25,000 in GPET funds from the City for the current fiscal year that began on July 1. Land Trust Executive Director Brad Bauer said a portion of the GPET funds are used for trail maintenance of the Green Room Trail and Soldier Ridge Trail system.
