Habitat for Humanity, building on faith

No exception to COVID-19 restrictions, Habitat for Humanity of the Eastern Bighorns was forced to postpone volunteer work during the initial months of the pandmenic.
As restrictions have eased, Habitat is looking for local Sheridan County volunteers searching for a good reason to be outside while contributing time and effort to a humanitarian cause.
To help gain new volunteers and partner with the Sheridan County faith community, Habitat for Humanity of the Eastern Bighorns has organized the Faith Build.
In a partnership with Thrivent Financial, who have matched funds to construct seven habitat homes in Sheridan, the Faith Build is looking for Sheridan County faith groups to contribute to the effort of building homes locally.
During an appearance on Public Pulse, Habitat for Humanity of the Eastern Bighorns executive director Christine Dieterich informed listeners on how the faith community can help.
