Mayor Miller Discusses City’s Budget

The Sheridan City Council recently held what appears to be the last of their budget work sessions in preparation of finalizing the budget for the fiscal year that begins on July 1. Sheridan Mayor Roger Miller says that the pay increases for the staff continues to be an unresolved issue.

Mayor Miller said that the budget includes a 9 percent across the board cut for every department.

A public hearing on the budget resolution will be held on June 15, prior to Council’s consideration of the budget for the upcoming fiscal year.
