WYDOT Buffalo Main St. Update for May 8

The Wyoming Department of Transportation (WYDOT) issued an update on the Buffalo Main Street Project for Thursday, May 8.
Paving of downtown Main Street will begin today (Thursday).
The west side of Main Street will be closed from Fort Street to Parmalee Street Thursday, May 8 and Friday, May 9 beginning at 7 a.m. both days.
Traffic will utilize the east side of Main, and motorists should expect flagging operations and short wait times.
Side streets will be temporarily closed during paving.
Paving on the east side is scheduled to begin on Saturday, May 10 and continue through Monday, May 12, and traffic will be switched to the west side with traffic control during paving.
Paving operations and lane closures will run between 7 a.m. and 7 p.m. and will be open at night with traffic control.
Paving is expected to be completed by Tuesday, May 13 if all goes as planned.
Work continues at Hart Street. Be prepared for lane closures, 3-way stop signs, and flagging operations at that intersection.
Utility work will be moving north along Main Street to Hart Street. Traffic will run head-to-head on the east side of Main to Hart Street.
Driveways and approaches along Main Street will be closed for a limited time during paving prep and asphalt placement.
Residents and businesses along Main Street will be notified 48 hours prior to any water shut downs.
