Johnson County Has 12th Confirmed COVID-19 Case

Johnson County now has its 12th confirmed case of COVID-19, according to County Health Officer Dr. Mark Schueler, who gave the update Tuesday morning during the Emergency Operations Center media briefing.
Dr. Schueler spoke about the confirmed case, and said he expects random cases to continue to happen as the country continues to open up from the restrictions.
Schueler said as time goes on the country, through antibody testing, will be looking to find how many people have been sick and who has immunity to help plan for the future.
Overall he said Wyoming has done very well and more specifically Johnson County has done exceptionally well in controlling this infection and he is in favor of more and more of a return to normalcy with precautions and the new skills we have learned to keep this from becoming a problem moving forward.
With more and more restrictions being lifted, he said we will have to be quick to recognize cases, isolate those people and track down contacts to keep any new cases from becoming a major problem.
