Gatchell’s History Conference Coming in April

The Jim Gatchell Memorial Museum in Buffalo will present their 2025 History Conference, Wyoming and World War II April 26 from 5 to 8 p.m. at the museum in Buffalo.
The conference topics will include POW Camp Douglas, the Camp Douglas Officer’s Club, the Casper Army Air Base, and the Wyoming Bomber Crash of 1943.
Featured speakers for the conference will be Jenna Thornburn, Superintendent of Camp Douglas; Tione Willox, from the Friends of Camp Douglas; John Woodward, from the Wyoming Military Department, and Sylvia Bruner, Director of the Gatchell Museum.
Dinner and a cash bar will be provided by the Virginian.
