The Arvada-Clearmont School Music Department Spring Sing-Along was held last night, March 13. Nearly 90 people came to enjoy the music by the school band and the spaghetti supper provided by the Clearmont School Cafeteria chef Aubrey Holland.

The event is a fundraiser for the A/C K-12 Music department, and Music Teacher Kirsten Johnson talked about the sing-along.

The Clearmont Band performers last night were three seniors, Izzy Mauck, drums; Dellana Michelena, electric guitar, and Katelyn Monroe, keyboard. There are two juniors, Tera Boden and Chloe Mauck, vocals. The one freshman was Isaac Andreen who played bass guitar. There were three eighth graders, Jacob Carvallo, trumpet; Devin Johnson, vocals; and Jorgen Michelena, trombone. There were three seventh graders, Garrette Bond on trombone; Raimee Jordon on trumpet and Callie Odegard, keyboard. Sixth graders Rylie Constantine-Schiffer and Ella Stoll joined Chole Mauck as vocalists.

Johnson would like to thank Aubrey Holland for the meal; Gerry Chase, for helping set up the sound system and preparing the music selections; Mike Buss for helping set up the event, and all the community members who came and joined in the singing and supported the band.
