Northeast Transmission Main Project

Details of an infrastructure project in northeast Sheridan were discussed at Monday night’s Sheridan City Council study session. Sheridan Media’s Ron Richter has the details.
The Northeast Transmission Main Project includes the installation of approximately 10,800 linear feet of 16-inch-diameter water mains and associated appurtenances northeast of Sheridan. Discussion of a bid award was an item on the agenda for the Council study session. City Project Manager David Ford.
Ford said that they received 11 bids for the project and that staff is recommending Mayor Rich Bridger and the City Council award the Northeast Transmission Main Project to Excel Wyoming, the lowest qualified bidder, for the amount of $1.8 million. The bid award is expected to be considered by the City Council at their next regular business meeting.
