Josh and Julia Henderson Violin and Cello Concert at the Whitney Center

Josh and Julia Henderson will perform a violin and cello concert at 7 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 18, in Kinnison Hall at the Whitney Center for the Arts at Sheridan College.

New York City based artists Julia Henderson and Josh Henderson will perform a folk-inspired Duo-Recital with traditional, classical and contemporary selections for the violin and cello. A versatile performer, Julia is a member of New Haven Symphony as well as the Sarasota Opera Orchestra, and has appeared with the Rochester Philharmonic, New World Symphony, Britten-Pears Orchestra, Aspen Festival Orchestra, and others.

According to information from Sheridan College, Josh has a multi-faceted career as a cross-genre violinist, violist, and composer. As a classical soloist, he has performed with the Cincinnati Chamber Orchestra, China Performing Arts Broadcasting Troupe, Starling Chamber Orchestra, Accent X Festival Orchestra, and many more.
