Santa’s Sleigh Being Towed Around Sheridan

When there’s a lack of snow, even Santa occasionally needs a tow.

For the past few days, All Valley Diesel Service has been towing Santa’s sleigh around various Sheridan neighborhoods to show off and give the children a chance to see St. Nick.

The tour starts at around 5pm until around 8-8:30.

Owner Nick Boxwell says the idea has been gaining popularity, and that Santa has had so many visitors, the tow truck crews have sometimes run out of time to finish their planned route for the evening.

As far as where the idea came from, Boxwell adds it’s a tradition that’s being continued from before he acquired the company.

“When I purchased Perts Towing, it was something that he has done for years, so we decided to take over his ideas and give back to the community and all the kids seem to enjoy it, our kids enjoy it, our employees enjoy it, so it’s some fun that we do every year.”

The last day of Santa sleigh tours will be Monday, December 23rd.
