Sheridan Commission Amends Inmate Agreement
An agreement between Sheridan County and Correctional Healthcare Companies, LLC has been amended and accepted by the county commission during this week’s meeting.
The amendment extends the existing agreement, increases compensation paid by the county to CHC, and reduces the Monthly Average Daily Population (MADP), adjusting compensation accordingly.
In a copy of the agreement provided by the county, the annual compensation is just over $295,700 for an MADP of 80 inmates, with increases for months with MADP over 80 inmates.
The amendments will be effective beginning July 1st.
