Car Lands In Little Goose Creek At Coffeen Avenue

At approximately 1109 hrs on October 30, 2024, Sheridan Police Department officers responded to an accident with injury in which a vehicle left the roadway and entered Little Goose Creek adjacent to the 1000 block of Coffeen Avenue.

Officers, Sheridan Fire Rescue, and EMS responded to the scene.

The female driver was located in the back seat and appeared to have injuries that are not life-threatening.

The female was removed from the vehicle and transported to Sheridan Memorial Hospital.

The vehicle was removed from the creek.

Officers contacted the female at the hospital and she reported that she was not feeling well that date and she recently had her medication changed.

The preliminary finding in the investigation revealed the driver sufered a medical episode that caused her to drive her vehicle off the roadway.

There are no pending charges.

No further information will be released to preserve the involved driver’s privacy.
