JCSD1 Hires New Legal Counsel

The Board of Trustees for the Johnson County School District, at their meeting for October Monday night, accepted the resignation of their previous legal counsel,

Davis & Cannon of Sheridan.

The law firm sent a resignation letter to the school district effective with their acceptance of the letter at the meeting.

The board praised them for their efforts on behalf of the district.

After accepting the resignation from Davis & Cannon, the board approved the recommendation to accept Scott Kolpitcke with Copenhaver, Kath, Kitchen & Kolpitcke, LLC of Powell as their legal counsel through the end of the year.
