The Johnson County Commission has approved two resolutions that altered two existing county road surveys to change portions of Klondike Road to follow the current alignment as it exists on the ground, as well as the easements pertaining to the road.

Representatives from Big Horn Surveying and County Road and Bridge discussed the surveys and the changes with the county commission before approval of the resolutions.

No public comment was offered in the matter.

County Road and Bridge Supervisor Scott Pehringer, at a meeting in March, said the project is a continuation of the county’s road cleanup project.

The approval of the resolutions set the realignments and abandoned the old existing surveys.
