cvannoyThe Clearmont Community Center and Library held their 48th Annual Fundraising Dinner and Auction on Sunday, September 29, at 5:30 p.m. in the basement of the Community Center.
The auction, dinner and raffle raised $10,845. Mayor Chris Schock, library board member, talked about how the funds would be used.
One donation that was sold for a final bid of $225 was an American Flag that was flown over the U.S. Capitol, donated by Wyoming Senator John Barrasso.
The high selling item was a two-night stay in an Air BnB in Sheridan, donated by Annie Magera. Amy Rowe of the library board added that pies and backed goods donated by community members were always popular at the auction.
Brannian Auction LLC, donated their time to auction off the items, and they have been doing the auction for nearly 48 years. As in previous years, Larry Brannian and his son-in-law Dan Gay shared the auction duties.
The Clearmont Community Center would like to thank all the donors who contributed items to the auction and would like to add a special thank you to Brannian Auction LLC.
