Ron RichterThe City of Sheridan is eyeing the purchase of three new police vehicles. Sheridan Media’s Ron Richter has the details.
The City recently requested bids for three Dodge Durango Police Pursuit AWD vehicles. A total of two bids were received and City staff is recommending Mayor Rich Bridger and the City Council approve the purchase of the vehicles from Sheridan Motor in the amount of $131,889. City Fleet Manager Heather Czaplinski.
Czaplinski said one of the Durango’s will be an addition to the fleet and the other two will be replacing two older vehicles that will be surplused. The purchase will be considered by the City Council at an upcoming business meeting.
