An arraignment hearing was held via video conference Thursday in Fourth Judicial District Court in Sheridan for 38-year-old Ian Sisco of Sheridan. On March 28, Sisco was arrested and charged with Felony Strangulation of a Household Member and Misdemeanor Domestic Battery. Sisco pleaded “not guilty” to both counts at Thursday’s arraignment in District Court. A pretrial conference was scheduled for August 6 at 10 am and District Court Judge John Fenn set a #3 stack trial date of September 8. The trial is expected to last three days.

Judge Fenn also continued Sisco’s bond under the same terms and conditions that were previously set forth in Circuit Court. The charge of Strangulation of a Household Member is punishable by up to 10 years in prison and a fine of up to $10,000. Domestic Battery is punishable by 6-months in jail and a fine of up to $750.
