Aaron PalmerSheridan Boy Scout Troop 117 Senior Patrol Leader Andre Wei is proud of the scouting organization and all that it has to offer to young people willing to get involved.
He spoke with Sheridan Media during Friday’s pancake breakfast downtown, saying this is his one year anniversary of joining the Sheridan Troop, after moving here from the State of Washington, where he was involved in scouting from the time he was able to join.
He called it a great organization, and explained why.
Wei, who is working toward becoming an Eagle Scout, said he is interested more in the journey than the destination.
When asked if he would recommend scouting to other young people he said, “Absolutely. I think it’s a great program for anybody to join.”
