The Wyoming Game and Fish have welcomed a new game warden in the Sheridan Region. Bradley Blackstock began duties as the Sheridan regional game warden in May.
According to the department, Blackstock attended Black Hills State University in Spearfish, SD, while also working as a ranch hand in the Sundance and Sturgis areas. He graduated in December 2018 with a bachelor’s degree in biology and a minor in criminal justice.
After graduation, he served a five-year enlistment in the U.S. Navy where he was assigned to the USS Blue Ridge deployed in Japan. He attended the Wyoming Law Enforcement Academy in spring 2024 and graduated on April 25.
As a regional warden, Blackstock will patrol throughout the Sheridan Region and assist district wardens with hunting, fishing and watercraft law enforcement.
