Aaron PalmerSheridan County’s Commissioners considered the Burrup Setback Variance brought before them by County Planner Mark Reid during their recent meeting.
The variance, as explained in the Public Works Staff Report, would approve an existing horse barn to be located roughly three feet from a proposed private road right-of-way.
The standard setback requirement in a Rural Residential zoning district is 25 feet.
Reid explained the need for the variance further.
No comment was offered during the Public Hearing.
After some discussion the commission voted to approve the setback variance.
