28th UW President Selected, Starts July 1

The University of Wyoming announced earlier this month that they have selected their new President. UW Vice President for Communications and Marketing Chad Baldwin explained the details of who the Board of Trustees chose.

The terms of Seidel’s contract are being finalized. Currently, the contract will last for 3 years with an annual base salary of $365,000, a $60,000 housing allowance, and a $50,000 contribution to a deferred compensation plan. Dr. Sidel will begin working at the start of the next fiscal year on July 1.
