UW Center on Aging Receives Almost $4 Million Grant

The University of Wyoming’s Center on Aging recently received a $3.75 million grant to help strengthen and enhance partnerships to help address the needs of Wyoming’s aging population. UW Vice President for Communications and Marketing Chad Baldwin shared that the Health Resources and Services Administration awarded the funds through its Geriatric Workforce Enhancement Program.
The goals of the program include implementing training to increase rates of advance care planning and chronic care management and training health care providers to assess and address the needs of older adults.
