Aaron PalmerAt their regular Tuesday meeting the Sheridan County Commission will consider a Resolution opposing the proposed land exchange between the Columbus Peak Ranch, LLC and a tract of State Trust land near Dayton.
Also on the agenda for the meeting is consideration of a grant award agreement between the county and the State Office of Homeland Security; an Inter-local Cooperation Agreement between the county and the City of Sheridan on a shared report management system and a Resolution for a Notice of Intent to vacate a portion of a right-of-way of Willow Circle in the Ponderosa Subdivision in Story.
The regular meeting will be Tuesday morning beginning at 9 a.m. in the Second Floor Board Room, #220, in the Sheridan County Courthouse Addition.
The public is welcome to attend.

I plead to the Commission to oppose this land exchange! The potential short-term financial gain is miniscule to the its superb wildlife and fishery in relation to the land east of Dayton. We must preserve this land for future generations.

Oppose or be voted out of your cushy office, preserve Sheridan County Wyoming!
