During the latest hospital board meeting, Amie Holt Care Center Director of Nursing Brenda Gorm reported that the facility has recently been dealing with residents and staff that had COVID, but she expected they would soon be out of mask mandates and protocols as long as they get no new cases.

Board President Dr. Mark Schuler asked if the facility is short-staffed.

Schueler also told the board that the clinic has seen an increase in about 90 patient visits this year over the same time last year.

The facility has also seen good turnouts for their flu clinics and the recent breast health night which he called “well-orchestrated and well-attended.”
