Mass Flu Clinic, POD Event Happening Friday in Buffalo

Coming up his Friday, October 13, Johnson County Public Health will be having a Mass Flu Clinic and Point of Dispensing (POD) event at Bomber Mountain Civic Center.

The public can get their annual flu shot and/or volunteer for the POD event, which is a training exercise in the event that Public Health needed to vaccinate the entire population of Johnson County within 48 to 72 hours.

According to information provided by Public Health, this POD event will be a Full-Scale Exercise, so if anyone in the public has a requirement to participate in an exercise, consider volunteering.

The POD event will be happening this Friday from 1 to 6 p.m. with the clinic happening from 3 to 6 p.m. at the Bomber Mountain Civic Center.
