While appearing on Sheridan Media’s Public Pulse, Sheridan Dog and Cat Shelter Operations Manager Cindy Popp and Dog Lead Emi Whiting talked about the upcoming Spaghetti Dinner Comedy night.

The shelter will be holding the event to bring much needed attention to and raise funds in support of longtimers at the shelter.

A “longtimer” is a term used at the Dog and Cat Shelter referring to animals who have called the shelter home for over six months. Some animals have called the shelter home for over two years. Reasons for the long stays vary from medical issues to simple superstition in the case of Milo, a simple pure black colored cat.

The Spaghetti Dinner Comedy night will be held beginning at 5:30 p.m. on Oct. 13 at the Kalif Shrine.
