The Downtown Sheridan Association is hosting a fundraiser, encouraging residents to break out the fancy clothes and Wine to the Nines at 6 p.m. Sept. 9, at Grinell Plaza.
DSA Board President Kristin Herbst told listeners of Sheridan Media’s Public Pulse about this rare opportunity to dress to the nines and taste wine here in Sheridan.
Patrons will have the opportunity to bid on items in a silent auction or play one of the many games that will be stationed throughout the area. According to Herbst, attendees are highly encouraged to get dolled up in all their best glamor.
Wine Fest allows the DSA the opportunity and the means to sponsor events such as the 3rd Thursday Street Festival and Sheridan in Bloom. The DSA sponsors events such as these to create community strongholds where people can come together to celebrate life in Sheridan. All funds raised from Wine Fest benefit the DSA’s ongoing efforts to revitalize and preserve historic downtown Sheridan. The Annual Wine Fest is a yearly event that provides crucial assets for generating downtown development projects.
The event will also feature hors d’oeuvres, prepared by a special guest, according to Herbst.
This event is only for those 21 years old and over. Purchase tickets by clicking here.
A special champagne reception will be held beforehand. Tickets for the champagne reception are sold exclusively at Verdello Olive Oils & Fine Foods.
