NSI Student Assaults Staff Member with Meat Thermometer

On Monday morning, the Sheridan County Sheriff’s Office was dispatched to Normative Services in Sheridan County for a report of assault with a deadly weapon. Sheriff Allen Thompson explained the details of the response. 

Sheriff Thompson clarified why the individual was sent to be held in Gillette.

Thompson said that no charges were filed against any of the NSI staff members in regards to the juvenile gaining access to the weapon.
