Buffalo Awarded SLIB Funds for Sunset Avenue Project

The City of Buffalo has been awarded American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) funding through the State Loan and Investments Board (SLIB) for the planned Sunset Avenue project.
Mayor Shane Schrader said Public Works Director Les Hook went to Cheyenne to talk with the SLIB about the city’s application for funding for the project.
Schrader said there is a local match required for the funds.
There are other funds for additional projects the city has applied to the SLIB for.
Schrader said the city is just trying to take advantage of those ARPA funds that came from Washington back to Wyoming and they’re trying to keep Buffalo’s name in the hat to get some of those dollars back to do some good in here.
