Zonta Members to Assemble Beloved Bundles

The April Zonta meeting will be held on Tuesday, April 11 from 5:30 – 7:00 PM at the Rib and Chop House on North Main St.

According to Deedee Boysen, Zonta 12, the featured speaker will be a SANE (Sexual Assault Nurse Examine) nurse from the Sheridan Memorial Hospital, who will tell us about her job.

As a community service project, the group will assemble Beloved Bundles (kits for women who have just been examined for sexual assault) which will be distributed through the Advocacy and Resource Center in Sheridan.

There will be a room at the Rib and Chop House to accommodate the bundling assembly line, and there will be no-host appetizers and beverages during the activity.

“We hope you will all make an effort to join us at this wonderful project!” the news release stated. Zonta is about helping to build a better world for women and girls in the Sheridan area and beyond.
