Buffalo Council OK’s Draft Agreement for Love’s Truck Stop

Buffalo’s City Council has authorized a draft infrastructure agreement be sent to Love’s Travel Stops at the request of City Attorney Dennis Kirven.

The company is proposing to build a truck stop on land behind the existing Big Horn Tire Center on Highway 16 East, near the I-90 interchange, which is not inside the city limits.

They are wanting to tap into city water and sewer lines in the area.

Kirven discussed the agreement with the council at Tuesday’s meeting.

Kirven said Love’s has not seen the draft infrastructure agreement, but he expects he and the company’s representatives should be able to reach an agreement on it and bring it back before the council for approval.

The council voted to authorize Kirven to send the draft agreement.
