cvannoyThe 10th annual Ucross Community Christmas Celebration was held Saturday, December 17 at the Raymond Plank Center in Ucross. The Center was filled with community members who came to hear the annual Christmas story by Craig Johnson, the Buffalo High School Balladiers sing Christmas carols, and the surprise visit by the Craft family. There were crafts for kids, donuts and hot drinks at the celebration as well.
Johnson explained how annual Christmas short story is came about. He said he won a short story contest and wondered what to do with the story after it had been published.

Due to the mid-week blizzard, several planned elements of the program had been canceled, including fireworks by Bruce Burns and his crew, cannon fire by Joe Reed.
