Council to Address DDA, Cemetery at Upcoming Meeting

The Sheridan City Council, due to the Presidents’ Day holiday Monday, will meet Tuesday night for their second regularly scheduled business meeting of February. Sheridan Media’s Ron Richter has a preview of what’s on Council’s agenda.
Following a public hearing on the matter, the Council will consider first reading of an ordinance that amends the Downtown Development Authority ordinance. Mayor Roger Miller says that the funding formula for the DDA is the main reason for the amendment.
Mayor Miller says that there are several different options on the table for funding the DDA.
The Council will also be considering first reading of an ordinance pertaining to the Sheridan Municipal Cemetery, and a resolution for financial institution signatories. The meeting Tuesday night will take place at 7 pm in Council Chambers on the third floor of Sheridan City Hall.
