Balance

With over 350 bills that have been proposed for the 2020 Budget Session of the Wyoming Legislature, as well as the several hundred page titular budget bill, it is set to be a busy 24 day period for the Senators and Representatives. Richard Tass represents Johnson County in the State House of Representatives and he gave his thoughts on whether or not there will be a struggle to find the balance between the biennial budget and the other legislation.
Many of the bills didn’t get introduced by Friday’s deadline and thus will not be heard in this session. Bills that were introduced had to receive a ⅔ majority vote in it’s house of origin, a stipulation that only applies to Budget Sessions.
