cvannoyTwo newly elected board members for the SCSD#1 board were sworn in on Nov. 22, in a special meeting in Ranchester. Pete Kilbride, Superintendent of the district, took the board members oath of office, which they recited together.
Bill Adsit, who served eight years on the college board and was recently elected to the SCSD#1 board, and Clint Krumm, who has served six years on the board and was re-elected, took the oath.
They also swore they had never knowingly violated or caused anyone else to violate any laws, and that they would discharge the duties of the office with fidelity.
Krumm said about his re-election, “I’m excited for the next four years. This is a great district.”
Notarizing the oaths was Ranchester town clerk, Barbara Brackeen-Kepley. Also attending the meeting as an observer was Ranchester Mayor Pete Clark, who was recently reelected. He has been mayor for eight years.
