The latest Consumer Price Index (CPI) released Thursday revealed that inflation has risen 13.9 percent since President Joe Biden took office in January of 2021. U.S. Senator John Barrasso, (R-WY), Chairman of the Senate Republican Conference said everyday life is too expensive for working families in Wyoming and across the country.

In a statement released in response to the latest CPI, Barrasso said costs remain at a 40-year high because of wasteful Washington spending and a war on American energy led by President Biden. He added that we can lower costs by unleashing domestic energy, cutting punishing regulations, and stopping runaway government spending and it’s time for Democrats to work with the Republicans to help American families.

Barrasso will use every smoke and mirror tactic to avoid identifying the true driver of increases in inflation, consumer index, and the National debt. The fact is we as a country are still dealing with the repercussions of the Trump administration’s complete mishandling of Covid pandemic coupled with unfunded tax breaks to corporations and the rich that Barrasso and his ilk supported.

Oil production is up 20% in the last 2 years, the price of crude is down 30% from it’s high earlier this year, yet gas prices continue to go up- sounds o e like your real bosses, as opposed to you constituents, are doing just fine.

Just propaganda for the dim witted. Barrasso, and Repub party, ok with lining up behind the NY real estate grifter. Barrasso and party, lacking character, integrity, or honesty, are merely hoping to share in the spoils of power. Its good to have a gullible constituency, eh Repubs?
