Sopko Discusses HUB on Smith’s Holiday Activities

A busy holiday season is coming up for the HUB on Smith, according to Director of Development Meredith Sopko, who was a guest on our talk Show Public Pulse.

Sopko discussed Urban Thrift, which is a good place to shop for the holidays.

Sopko said the HUB has a program called the Giving Tree, which is vital to seniors in the community.

Trees will be located at the HUB and at Urban Thrift, and community members can take an ornament off of the tree and purchase items requested by the seniors, which will be wrapped by the Hub and delivered to the seniors during the holidays.

Giving Tuesday is another holiday program for the HUB, which will take place on

the Tuesday after Cyber Monday.
