Sheridan Food Group Benefits From Sheridan Media’s Public Service Campaign

Sheridan Media’s commitment to public service has been recognized and one Sheridan County public service group has benefited from it twice!

The Wyoming Association of Broadcasters (WAB) awarded 1st place to Sheridan Media in the large market radio public service category.

The promotion was for the Sheridan Food Group “Fill The Bus” Campaign and in addition to the award, the Food Group received a $500 donation from the WAB.

On top of that, the Kim and Mary Kay Love Foundation matched the $500 donation to the Sheridan Food Group.

The Food Group seeks to alleviate childhood hunger in Sheridan County, by providing nourishment.

For the summer, the Group is holding their daily book and bite program from 11 until 11:30am at the Sheridan County Fulmer Public Library, as well as the camp-in-a-bus program every Wednesday from 4:30 until 5:30pm.

Both programs were similar programs that were devised by Sheridan County School District #2, when the COVID pandemic started.
