Written by well-known comedian Steven Martin and directed by Dan Cole, The Underpants follows the events of newly married Louise, played by Rowan Heil, who is bored with her demanding and uptight bureaucrat husband Theo played by Ryan Legler.

While at an event, Lousie’s underpants fall down to her ankles. This leads to a new level of attention from men toward Lousie and embarrassment and hilarity in the life of her uptight husband Theo.

Heil and Legler recently sat down with Floyd Whiting during an appearance on Sheridan’ Media’s Public Pulse program to discuss their characters.

Legler said although Theo’s beliefs are antiquated and an opposite of Legler, he does enjoy the character.

Heil told listeners that her character of Lousie doesn’t grasp the gravity of the situation, having spent her life as a woman in 1910 Germany, she was aloof to the embarrassment at first.
