Sheridan Public Works is currently working on the sewer of Black Tooth Park and plans to begin the construction of restrooms.

While appearing on Sheridan Media’s Public Pulse program, Interim Public Works Director Haans Mercer told listeners that construction of a gravity sewer main line to the property proved to be challenging but installation of the main is currently being completed.

Once finished, the sewer main will serve a restroom facility in the park.

The contract for the sewer main is being completed by Northern Underground at a cost of approximately $120,000. According to Mercer, the restroom construction contract will be put out to bid later this coming summer season.
