Gatchell Museum Temporarily Closing for February
The Johnson County Jim Gatchell Memorial Museum in Buffalo will temporarily close for the month of February and will reopen on Monday, March 2nd.
According to Museum Director Sylvia Bruner, the closure will allow staff and volunteers the opportunity to get some much needed work caught up.
Bruner said February is traditionally the month that has had the fewest number of visitors to the museum, so the closure will not affect as many people as in other months.
Although the museum will be closed to the public during the month, staff members can still be contacted by email or by leaving a voicemail message.
