Sheridan County OKs Fire Management Agreement

Sheridan County’s Commissioners have voted to approve the annual Interagency Cooperative Fire Management Agreement.
County Fire Warden Chris Thomas explained the agrrement at the recent commission meeting.
According to the agreement,the Wyoming State Forestry Division will coordinate Wyoming’s interagency cooperative fire protection with federal agencies.
The local agencies agree to implement the agreement through a Sub-geographic Operating Plan and agree to the specific equipment and pay rates and conditions that appear in the Wyoming Mobilization Guide.
