The Buffalo City Council has approved an infrastructure agreement with a landowner for a water supply line, which will not be activated until the property is annexed into the city.

City Building Inspector Terry Asay explained the request to the council, saying Juliet Kilo Holdings, LLC whose property currently is is Johnson County, is seeking approval for a water line while construction is underway nearby.

Asay explained further that the water line, if approved, would be installed but would not be turned on until the property is annexed into the city limits.

He recommended approval, which the council voted to do.
