Mountain Warriors RC-Public hosted Christmas Dinner

The Mountain Warriors RC-Public hosted a free Christmas dinner at the VFW Post 1560. This was the second year in a row that the organization hosted a free Christmas dinner.

Four turkeys were smoked in addition to the leftovers from the 20 turkeys smoked for the organization’s earlier free Thanksgiving dinner at the same site, 10 hams were also baked and 60 pounds of beef. Later in the feed, sweet potatoes were brought out that were smothered with gooey baked marshmallows.

Santa Claus, who is a several-generation Santa, also made an appearance. He said he enjoys making people happy.
