Sheridan Motors Opens New Facility With New US Flag and Flagpole

It’s a grand old flag and it’s a big one.

As part of the grand opening of the new facility on North Main Street along I-90, management of Sheridan Motors raised a 20 by 30 foot US flag up on a 100 foot flagpole.

A Wyoming flag accompanies the US Flag underneath.

According to Flag Manufacturers Association of America, the size of the flag should be about one quarter of the height of the pole, thus the flag that the car dealership is flying is proportionate.

Sheridan Motors co-owner Nathan Mullinax says the reason for the flag and flagpole was to show community support.

“Since we were designing this facility, we wanted to make sure there was a large flag pole at the corner of the building, so you can see it from the interstate and it just said, this community stands with our veterans.”

The 2 flags will be on the flagpole 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, and will be spotlighted at night.
