Linder Looks to Return Cowboy Hoops Back to Being More Competitive in the MWC

COWBOY HOOPS – The University of Wyoming fired Cowboy basketball coach Allen Edwards after the Mountain West conference tournament in mid March soon after they hired University of Northern Colorado coach Jeff Linder to lead the Pokes into the coming season then the pandemic hit but Linder has been busy filling out the roster for next season.
One priority for Linder is to get the fans back in the Double “AA” and he believes he has put together a roster to do that.
SRD – Preseason planning for the Sheridan recreation district summer adult softball leagues is going on this week, last night the annual managers meeting was held it’s hoped that league play can start the first week in June, team and player registration continues.
Registration for all Webb Wright baseball leagues and girls summer softball leagues is open now and they are also taking reservations for this summer youth outdoor programs to find out more information an all rec district programs go to sheridanrecreation.com
Sheridan high school will host another “Be The Light” ceremony tomorrow evening to recognize Bronc and Lady Bronc senior track and field athletes.
The program will start at 8:20 at Homer Scott stadium senior athletes will be stationed in the bus loop for people to drive through and recognize their accomplishments. Track coach Taylor Kelting will join us for a special broadcast to celebrate the seniors it will be broadcast in 14-10 KWYO and 106.9 FM.
