Sheridan County HS Basketball: For the second time in as many weeks the Sheridan High School basketball teams would sweep a double header vs. Kelly Walsh.

The girls score was 49-26 and the boys score was 68-45, as both teams improve to 4-0 on the season.

The Broncs and Lady Broncs play at Natrona County again today, starting at 5pm.

Elsewhere in Sheridan County, the Big Horn boys lost last night at home vs. Buffalo 64-52, while the girls lost on the road 70-27.

The Rams and Lady Rams head to Ethete today to play 2 games.

Beginning at 3pm they will play Big Piney and then at 6pm, they’ll go up against Wyoming Indian.

Tomorrow BH will play at Wind River, starting at 11am.

Tongue River will also play 2 games today, but they will get started early in the day.

TR takes on Wyoming Indian starting at 9am and then play Big Piney starting at 12-noon.

Tomorrow at 8am, the Eagles and Lady Eagles will play Greybull in Pavillion.

Arvada-Clearmont ended up splitting their home double-header last night vs. the Thunder Basin freshmen team.

The girls won 49-9, while the boys lost 54-15.

Both the Panthers and Lady Panthers are off for the holiday break and will resume playing games in January.


Sheridan County HS Wrestling: The Sheridan boys will compete today and tomorrow at the 2-day Pat Weede Invitational in Gillette.

The Sheridan girls will host a 1-day 8-team dual tournament tomorrow starting at 10:30am.

Both the Tongue River boys and girls wrestling teams will compete tomorrow at Wright.


Sheridan HS Boys Swimming and Diving: Sheridan was at Buffalo yesterday for a quad meet.

The Broncs won vs. both Gillette teams, and lost against the Bison.

Today and tomorrow, Sheridan will swim at the Kelly Walsh Invitational.


Sheridan Hawks Amateur Hockey: The Sheridan Hawk boys will play their home finale today and tomorrow vs. Riverton.

The puck drops tonight at 7 o’clock and tomorrow at 10am.

The Sheridan Lady Hawks play today and tomorrow at Miles City, MT.

Today’s game starts at 6pm and tomorrow’s game is at 8am.


University of Wyoming Basketball: The Wyoming Cowboys won last night at home vs. Bellarmine University 92-55.

The Pokes shot 65% from the field, including 14 3’s and the bench produced 33 points.

Obi Agbim led the way with 28 points.

A.J. Willis scored 13.

Matija Belic contributed a dozen, while Cole Henry and Touko Tainamo put in 11.

UW is now 6-5 on the season and will play their final non-conference game this Sunday at Cal-State Fullerton.

Tip off is scheduled for 3pm and you can hear the game LIVE on AM 1410 KWYO and 106.9 FM.

The Wyoming Cowgirls will play their final non-conference game tomorrow at home vs. North Dakota beginning at 1pm.

That game can be heard LIVE on Fox Sports 106.3 FM.


Denver Broncos Football: Last night was a tale of 2 halves and the Denver Broncos did not show up in the 2nd half last night.

They were up 21-13 at halftime, but only managed 2 field goals after that, and lost at the LA Chargers 34-27.

The Broncos had 229 yards of total offense in the first half, but only 107 in the second half.

Penalty yardage was a big factor as Denver was hit 7 times for 61 yards, while the Chargers only got 2 yellow flags for a loss of 8 yards.

Quarterback Bo Nix was 29 of 40 passing for 263 yards and 2 TD tosses, that ended up being caught by Michael Burton and Devaughn Vele.

Audric Estime ran one in, while kicker Bo Nix booted field goals of 41 and 55 yards.

The Broncos could qualify for the playoffs this weekend provided both Miami and Cincinnati lose.

Denver has 2 games remaining on their schedule and play next week Saturday at Cincinnati.


Denver Nuggets Basketball: The Denver Nuggets lost last night at Portland 126-124.

The Nuggets next play Sunday at New Orleans.


Colorado Avalanche Hockey: The Colorado Avalanche won last night at San Jose 4-2.

The Avs next play today at Anaheim starting at 8pm and play Sunday at home vs. Seattle.
