Sheridan HS Wrestling: The defending 4A State Champ Sheridan Broncs won 8 of 10 matches in a 63-12 home dual win vs. Worland.

Of those 8, 4 were by pinfall, and 1 by tech fall.

Worland was open in 4 other weight classes hence the Broncs won by forfeit.

Broncs Coach Tyson Shatto says aside from the lopsided score this dual is a good tune-up for the tournament being held today and tomorrow in Rapid City, South Dakota, because any Wyoming team attending is already at a disadvantage.

There were also 4 matches between the Sheridan and Worland girls wrestlers last night, and it ended up in a 2-2 split for both teams.

You can see video highlights of last night’s dual later this weekend at sheridanmedia.com.

Sheridan would battle back and cut the deficit to 1 with 10 seconds to go, but could not complete the comeback.

The Broncs did not have an answer for Parker Paxton who dropped 29 points in the game.

Meanwhile the Sheridan girls were 67-38 winners at Riverton last night.
