Wyoming State Tennis Wraps up / Broncs, Rams and Eagles Football hit the Road Again / Wyoming Cowboys Open MWC Play Saturday

BRONC / LADY BRONC TENNIS – The Sheridan high school tennis teams brought home a few trophies and one state championship from the Wyoming high school state championships that wrapped up Wednesday in Gillette.

The Broncs had two state runner-up teams, along with one 3rd and one 4th place finish and place 3rd in the team standings.

Aaron and Ben Bujans (#1 doubles), as well as Landis Zebroski and Shaw Walker (#2 doubles), finished the season at state runners-up, while Cody Moeller and Bridger Mortensen (#3 doubles) finished 3rd and Sean Brown (#2 singles) finished 4th.

The Bujans along with Zebroski and Walker earned all-state honors based on their finishes.

For the Lady Broncs, Georgia Gould and Liv Katschke are state champs at #3 doubles and are the only girls to win all-state honors.

Alli Ligocki placed 4th at #2 singles, the Lady Broncs placed 5th in the team standings.

HIGH SCHOOL FOOTBALL – The football Broncs play at Cheyenne East tomorrow night, the Big Horn Rams are on the road at Wheatland and the Tongue River Eagles travel to Torrington.

COWBOY FOOTBALL – The Wyoming Cowboys play at home Saturday against New Mexico kickoff is at 2:00 you can hear it on KWYO 14-10 AM and 106.9 FM.

BRONCO FOOTBALL – The Denver Broncos play at Chicago Sunday kickoff at 11:00 live on KWYO 14-10 AM and 106.9 FM.

VOLLEYBALL – The Sheridan Lady Bronc volleyball team will play Cheyenne East and Central at home tomorrow and Saturday varsity match times at 6:00 and noon.

The Big Horn Lady Rams play at Moorcroft tomorrow and home with Sundance Saturday.

The Tongue River Lady Eagles will host Wright and Moorcroft.

X-COUNTRY – The Bronc and Lady Bronc cross country teams run at a meet today in Sturgis, South Dakota.

SWIMMING / DIVING – The Lady Bronc swimmers and divers host duals today with Campbell county and Thunder Basin high schools events start at 4:00.

JUNIOR HOCKEY – The Sheridan Junior Hawks host the Butte Irish tomorrow and Saturday they drop the puck at 7:30.

The Hawks are hosting a cancer awareness weekend where they will wear pink and encourage fans to wear pink as well, the players are wearing special uniforms for the games which are being auctioned off.
