TR EAGLES FOOTBALL – Week three of the Wyoming high school football season starts this evening with the Tongue River Eagles hosting a Thursday night game with the Upton-Sundance Patriots.
In last week’s 59-7 road thrashing of Glenrock, the Eagles defense held the Herders to 81 yards of total offense, including negative 24 on the ground, they also intercepted three passes and recovered a fumble.
Offensively they had a well balanced attack with 214 yards rushing and another 246 through the air.
Head coach Steve Hanson says while the Eagles had fun last week, they may have had too much fun and he wants them be a lot sharper tonight.

RAMS FOOTBALL – The Big Horn Rams are at home taking on Glenrock at 6:00 tomorrow night.
COWBOY FOOTBALL – The Wyoming football Cowboys hit the road for a game at #4 Texas Saturday night the game will kickoff at 6:00.
BRONCO FOOTBALL – The Denver Broncos host Washington Sunday afternoon kickoff is set for 2:25.
VOLLEYBALL – The Lady Bronc volleyball team will play tomorrow at home against Thunder Basin the varsity match will start at 6:00 and Saturday they play at Campbell county.
The Big Horn Lady Rams host Wright tomorrow and play at Thermopolis Saturday.
The Tongue River Lady Eagles are idle this weekend.
SWIMMING / DIVING – The Lady Bronc swimmers and divers will compete in Gillette tomorrow and host Kelly Walsh Saturday.
X-COUNTRY – The Bronc and Lady Bronc cross country teams host the annual “Michelle Ludwig” Sheridan invitational today at Black Tooth park, the Big Horn and Tongue River runners will be competing as well.
STATE GOLF – This week it’s time for the high school golf state tournaments play begins tomorrow, Big Horn and Tongue River will tee it up in Newcastle while the Powder Horn will host the 4A state tournament.
